DESCRIPTION:Have an ongoing research project or program that would benefit
  from a grant and want to know more about funding opportunities and proce
 sses involved? Have a grant proposal in progress and want to think about 
 how to best position your work? This session will invite folks at any sta
 ge of the process to come in\, hear a bit about\, discuss\, plan\, and wo
 rkshop grant ideas and documents. The main goal will be to leave the sess
 ion with a plan for what to do next–what data to pursue\, what funding or
 ganization to learn more about\, what kind of pitch to draft\, etc.\n\nPr
 esenter: Dr. Tim Johnson is an Associate Professor in the English Departm
 ent and Director of the Writing Center. Over the last ten years\, he has 
 published an academic book\, various articles\, worked with a number of g
 raduate students on extended projects\, and taught courses in academic\,
