 he GW Canine Cognition Collaborative (aka GW Dog Lab) is a student-run la
 b in the Anthropology Department.\n\nResearch sessions are on campus\, af
 ter hours and on weekends\, and are designed to last only 1 hour. Because
  humans and dogs share an environment\, we can learn a lot about the way 
 that environment has shaped our species by comparing dog and toddler cogn
 ition. We play simple games with dogs designed to measure their cognition
  and then compare them to toddlers.\n\nHow to Participate\n\n1. Start by 
 submitting a pre-screening form. This helps us learn about your dog\n\n2.
  Next\, open your email and look for your onboarding information sent fro
 m canine.cognition@gwu.edu.\n\n3. Then\, using the information in your em
 ail\, sign up for your initial visit. This is a get-to-know-you visit tha
 t makes it easier for dogs to get acclimated to our testing space.\n\n4. 
 Finally\, after the initial visit\, depending on your dog's comfort level
 \, you will get email invitations to studies your dog is eligible for!\n\
