452011747\n\nAbout the Book\nPractising psychoanalytic clinician Lara She
ehi creates a thrilling argument for how seizing the means of psychoanaly
sis can transform it into one of many tools in service of revolution\, sh
owing how psychoanalysis can help unpack how psychological and emotional
processes are mobilized by political power\, capitalism\, the state\, opp
 ression\, and even genocide.\n\nArguing for a new\, liberatory psychoanal
ysis\, she calls for us to harness its radical power from the clinic to t
he streets.\n\nPart of the "'On Violence' Experimental Study Sequence" (p
 t. 3\, Fall 2026)\nJoin us for a sequence of conversations with authors o
 f key texts addressing violence\, empire\, liberation\, solidarity\, abol
ition\, and the problem of “Man”/human. These live discussions will be le
d by students of the “‘On Violence’ Experimental Study Sequence\,” taught
by Prof. Dylan Rodríguez. Participants will have opportunities to engage
with authors during the sessions\, to whatever extent time permits. This
is an experiment. We hope you will read the authors’ work prior to each
study meeting\, but as importantly\, we aspire to cultivate a sense of in
 tellectual collaboration\, curiosity\, and activated thought.\n\nSponsore
