DESCRIPTION:The Greek Assembly Sessions (GAS)\n\nOverview: The Greek Assem
 bly Sessions (GAS) are mandatory sessions tailored for students intereste
 d in joining a fraternity\, sorority\, or FSL-affiliated organization at 
 Florida A&M University (FAMU). These sessions\, in collaboration with var
 ious campus entities\, cover crucial topics such as Sexual Assault Awaren
 ess and Prevention\, Hazing Laws\, Campus Safety\, Volunteering\, and Int
 ake procedures.\n\nPurpose: GAS aims to provide essential education and i
 nformation about fraternity and sorority life\, including its values\, ex
 pectations\, and responsibilities. Successful completion of a GAS session
  is a prerequisite for eligibility for membership intake.\n\nFormat: GAS 
 sessions are conducted in person only. Students are required to attend on
 e session before participating in official membership activities. It's im
 portant to note that no virtual sessions will be offered.\n\nRegistration
 : Students must register for their preferred session via the iStrike "New
 s" page by searching for "Greek Assembly Sessions - Spring 2025". A regis
 tration fee is required to reserve a seat. This fee contributes to the gr
 owth and funding of FSL programs\, conferences\, and workshops aimed at e
 nhancing the Greek community's service to FAMU and Tallahassee. The setti
 ng is limited per session.\n\nAttendance: Attendance at a GAS session is 
 mandatory for each intake period. Students must register and attend at le
 ast one session\, as attendance does not carry over to subsequent intake
