 \n\nThis free event is open to all University of Cincinnati students\, st
 aff\, and faculty as well as other interested members of the community. C
 ome together to help raise mental health awareness and promote mental hea
 lth resources at the University of Cincinnati through a three mile run or
  a three mile ruck march with a 35 lbs pack.\n\nThe Kilgore Memorial Run 
 and Ruck is held to honor Cadet Michael Kilgore and his legacy. Michael K
 ilgore was a cadet in the University of Cincinnati's Army ROTC program. I
 n addition\, he was a member of the Ohio Army National Guard and the Ohio
  Army National Guard Honor Guard. Tragically\, Cadet Kilgore lost his lif
 e to suicide on November 17th\, 2019. His loss sent shockwaves across the
  army ROTC program and the university. Every year since this loss\, the U
 C Army ROTC program has honored Michael and his legacy through a memorial
  run.\n\nHelp us overcome mental illness and raise suicide awareness in t
 he first annual Kilgore Memorial Run and Ruck at Gettler Stadium on Novem
 ber 6th\, 2026 at 6:30 AM. The run will begin at 7:00 and conclude by 8:1
