DESCRIPTION:Celebrating 38 years\, the Festival of Trees is an annual fund
 raising event for FIU’s Interior Architecture students and programs. Each
  year\, Festival of the Trees sponsors underwrite designers who design an
 d build their unique holiday creations and donate the art pieces to the f
 undraising event. The “trees” are set on display at the gala opening and 
 at the end of the evening the attendees are provided with the opportunity
  to make a donation to obtain and claim a beautiful holiday tree with the
 m.\n\nThe theme for this year’s festival is Chroma in Motion. At this yea
 r’s Festival of the Trees\, designers are invited to explore the spectrum
  of chroma as a catalyst for design. Through thoughtful shifts\, gradatio
 ns\, and transitions of color\, designers can shape the emotional experie
 nce of the viewer and transform the mood of the environment.\n\nDesigners
  are challenged to explore the physical processes of light refraction\, d
 ispersion\, and spectral separation as forces that flow\, fracture\, radi
 ate\, and echo. Designers are encouraged to interpret these processes thr
 ough various mediums\, forms\, compositions and patterns.\n\nFor members 
 of the FIU Community\, tickets are ONLY $60! This includes current studen
 ts\, faculty\, and staff. These are limited to (2) per FIU member and mus
 t be purchased with proof of Panther ID at Zinaida's office: PCA 277B\, o
