SUMMARY:MAIN STAGE | Our Town
LOCATION:Roble Gym Elam Theater\, 375 Santa Teresa Street\, Stanford\, CA
 94305
DESCRIPTION:FALL MAIN STAGE 2026 | NO LATE SEATING\n\nWritten By Thornton
Wilder | Directed by Guest Artist Jeffrey Lo\n\nA Stage Manager enters be
fore us calling for time. But it’s not a rehearsal they are calling us in
for\, it’s real life. In Thornton Wilder’s masterwork Our Town we experi
ence life in three acts: “Daily Life\,” “Love and Marriage” and finally\,
“Death and Eternity.” In a world where the possibility of humanity losin
g its grasp on reality looms large\, the resonance of this classic reverb
erates today as strongly as it did when first written and in one of those
most stunning scenes in the American canon\, we come face to face with w
hat it is we have already lost.\n\nHailed by Edward Albee as “the greates
t American play ever written\,” this enduring story continues to ask us—g
enerations later—how to use our time\, how to love our time and how to ru
 n out of time.\n\nhttp://next-to-u.app/events/d873a4c6-7527-4a81-941a-c13
