 tice. Drawing from his experience living with HIV\, Carew experiments wit
 h blood\, photographic chemistry\, archival imagery\, and found materials
  to explore the relationship between the body\, memory\, and queer histor
 y.\n\nThrough a discussion of his ongoing material experimentation and re
 cent body of work\, On the Shoulders of Splendid Ones\, Carew will share 
 how photography\, printmaking\, and collage allow him to bring the past a
 nd present\, the living and the dead\, into conversation. The talk consid
 ers how these processes can preserve personal and collective histories wh
