DESCRIPTION:The S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications is currently
  accepting applications for its Ph.D. in mass communications and master’s
  of science degree in media studies programs.\n\nLearn more about the pro

 h a master’s degree\, our Ph.D. in mass communications is a four-year\, f
 ully-funded program designed to train scholars who are capable of conduct
 ing original research\, creating new knowledge and disseminating their wo
 rk through publications\, presentations and their teaching. The program i
 s interdisciplinary\, with students collaborating with faculty and taking
  coursework both inside and outside the Newhouse School to develop their 
 expertise and chart their career goals.\n\nMedia studies is an excellent 
 foundation for doctoral study or for research-oriented jobs in the privat
 e or public sector. As a Newhouse media studies student\, you will\, thro
 ugh investigation of contemporary media systems and processes\, assess th
 e media’s relationship with the world.\n\nThe Newhouse School believes th
