 es that research has shown to provide significant educational benefits fo
 r students\, including those historically underserved by higher education
 —when done well\, the literature is quick to emphasize.\nThis session spo
 tlights how the English department implemented six HIPs at scale (reachin
 g over 10\,000 students in the Fall semester for Gen Ed courses alone!) a
 nd did it well enough to be recognized by the USG with the Regents’ Award
  for\nExcellence in High-Impact Practices and Experiential Learning. If y
