DESCRIPTION:The Community Safety Talks series aims to promote a safe envir
 onment for everyone. With the holidays right around the corner\, food saf
 ety becomes ever more important. This session will inform participants wi
 th key food handling practices to avoid cross-contamination and time-temp
 erature abuse. The session also covers required cooking temperatures\, sa
 fe cooling and reheating basics\, and best practices for labeling\, stori
 ng and organizing food to keep products safe.\n\nThis event is open to an
 yone\, including students\, staff and faculty at K-State and members of t
 he surrounding community. Professional development credit will be offered
  to all faculty and staff who attend the event.\n\nRegister online.\n\nPr
