LOCATION:Carlson Library Room 2024
DESCRIPTION:The Chess Blend is a student community operated by Juice House
at the University of Toledo\, founded on the belief that chess is more t

ucational opportunities and publicly connected resources from the Toledo
community.\n\nIn the Juice House Chess Blend\, we uplift chess-playing sk
ills by providing master-level coaching experiences and by competing in r
egional and national tournaments. We also provide professional developmen
t opportunities through project-oriented learning\, where you discover th
e AI algorithms behind chess engines by building them yourself. And we fo
ster a well-connected and fruitful platform of conversations across psych
 ology\, neuroscience\, business\, mathematics\, artificial intelligence a
 nd education.\n\nWhether you've never pushed a pawn or you're a seasoned
tournament player\, consider joining us! You'll train with a national mas
ter\, sharpen your calculation and critical thinking\, build real AI proj
ects for your portfolio\, compete with the team\, give back to the commun
ity — and above all\, have fun and make lasting friends over the board.\n
