DESCRIPTION:Join Starkville Swing Dance on Sunday nights for beginner-frie
 ndly swing dance lessons and events! We focus on the lindy hop\, a fun\, 
 energetic partner dance that originated to jazz music in the 30s and 40s 
 and is danced around the world today. Events are free\, and are open to a
 nyone\, including MSU affiliates (undergrad students\, grad students\, fa
 culty\, and staff) and community members. Bring your friends! No partner\
 , experience\, or coordination required!\n\nTIME: We meet on Sunday night
 s at 6pm. We do a beginner lesson from 6:00-7:30pm\, and then stay from 7
 :30-8:00-ish (or whenever people feel like) to dance\, practice\, or just
  hang out!\n\nLOCATION/GETTING INTO THE BUILDING/UPDATES: Events are in S
 imrall Hall (Room 104\, on MSU campus)\, but the doors are locked\, so yo
 u will need to phone/text the teacher for that day to get let into the bu
 ilding. Since teachers may change\, make sure to check our Group Me or Fa
 cebook page (links below) each week to confirm who is teaching that day a
 nd get their contact info\, and also to confirm whether we are still on o
 r had to cancel. (Facebook events or cancellation posts are usually poste
 d mid-week. Group Me reminders are sent out Sunday morning/early afternoo
 n.) Note that Cowbell Connect is NOT updated in case of cancellation.\n\n
 PARKING: Parking is free on Sundays all across MSU campus\, and there are
  several parking lots nearby. The closest parking is street parking on He
 rbert Street directly behind Simrall Hall. (You can walk around from ther
