DESCRIPTION:The Nevada Radon Education Program invites students in 6–12th 
 grade across Nevada to participate in the 2026 Nevada Radon Poster Contes
 t!\n\nDid you know that radon is the second leading cause of lung cancer?
  We need the help of student leaders across the country to help raise rad
 on awareness! Help us raise awareness and encourage radon testing by ente
 ring the Radon Poster Contest. You can enter the contest on your own\, wi
 th the help of a parent\, or get your whole class or club involved in the
  contest. Not only will you join others across the country who are showin
 g the dangers of radon\, but you may also win a prize!\n\nEligibility\n\n
 Youth ages 11-18 are eligible for the Nevada Radon Poster Contest (6th-12
 th grade). Students in 6th-12th grade enrolled in Nevada Schools: public\
 , private\, territorial\, tribal\, home school\; or through a sponsoring 
 club.\n\nPrizes\n\nNevada: 1st place - $250\, 2nd place - $150\, 3rd plac
 e - $100\n\nThe Nevada 1st place winner will be selected and sent to the 
 national contest. The national winner’s prize is $1\,000.\n\nTeacher Ince
 ntives\n\nThe top three winning posters in Nevada will receive a gift car
 d award for their teacher (or sponsoring organization’s representative) w
 orth $50. Encourage your students to participate today!\n\nPosters must b
