 \, Texas\n\nDescription: The GSC serves as the official faculty committee
  charged with:\n\nReviewing and approving graduate curriculum changes\, i
 ncluding new courses and revisions to existing courses. Establishing and 
 monitoring academic standards for graduate education. Evaluating graduate
  program requirements and ensuring alignment with Graduate School policie
 s and accreditation standards. Supporting admissions\, student progressio
 n\, program evaluation\, and other matters affecting graduate nursing edu
 cation. Facilitating faculty review and voting on graduate program initia
 tives through standing subcommittees\, such as the Graduate Curriculum Co
 mmittee. Within the School of Nursing\, the GSC includes faculty members 
 with Graduate Studies Committee appointments from the UT Austin Graduate 
 School who are authorized to supervise master's and doctoral students\, s
 erve on thesis and dissertation committees\, and participate in graduate
