About

Show your Bobcat pride and help the next class of Bobcats start their TXST journey strong as an Orientation Leader for New Student Orientation (NSO) 2027!

As an Orientation Leader, you’ll play an important role in helping incoming students and their families feel welcomed, connected, and ready to start their Texas State journey. You’ll build leadership skills, collaborate with an incredible team, and make a lasting impact on the Bobcat community.

What does being an Orientation Leader look like?

• Welcome new Bobcats: Help students and families navigate their transition to Texas State.

• Build your leadership skills: Develop communication, teamwork, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.

• Find your people: Connect with fellow student leaders and become part of a supportive team.

• Make an impact: Help create a welcoming and memorable NSO experience for students and families at our San Marcos and Round Rock campuses.

Attend one of our OL Info Sessions to explore the role, learn about expectations and commitments, and get your questions answered!
