An event is missing

NextToU only shows events a university publishes on its own public calendars, and it collects them overnight. If a club posts somewhere else — an Instagram story, a group chat, a flyer — we never see it. If something is on your university’s calendar but not here, tell us the event name and we’ll look at why.

The details are wrong

Times and places come from the organiser and do change. We’re not the organiser, so the original listing is always the final word — every event links back to it.

Reminders aren’t arriving

Three things have to be true, in this order:

• You’re using the iPhone app. Reminders can’t be delivered reliably from a web browser.
• iOS has permission. Check Settings › Notifications › NextToU on your phone.
• The event is saved. Reminders are per event — tap the heart on anything you want to be told about.

Once all three are true, open Account › Notifications and send yourself a test notification. If that arrives and reminders still don’t, email us.

I can’t sign up

NextToU is for students and staff of the universities we cover, so sign-up needs the email address your campus gave you. If your university isn’t on the list yet, email us and say which one — that’s how we decide what to add next.

I forgot my password

Use Reset password. We email you a code; enter it, then choose a new password. If the email doesn’t arrive within a few minutes, check spam before trying again.

Delete my account

Open Account and choose Delete account. It removes your account and the data attached to it — saved events, your class schedule, your preferences and your reminder registrations. You don’t need to email us and we can’t undo it afterwards.
