About
On November 10th, the Lovely Ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated will host “Sole to Soul: Serving Those Who Served.” This community-wide service initiative supports homeless veterans in Washington, D.C. through direct action and education. In partnership with Access Housing Inc., DC Southeast Veterans Services Center, and Howard University Student Veterans of America, this event focuses on collecting essential items, such as socks, which are critically needed in shelters, and writing letters to veterans.
