About

HeARTSgiving is a community service event hosted by CUSA and The Meantime Coffee Co. in support of Heart of Dinner, a nonprofit serving Asian American elders in New York City. Participants will decorate food donation bags and write encouraging notes in elders’ native languages to accompany meals and groceries. Through these activities, students will learn about Heart of Dinner’s work and explore how language, art, and culturally meaningful food can foster connection and care across generations.

The event will take place on November 22, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
