The holiday season is right around the corner, and we're excited to introduce Rocky's Holiday Helpers, formerly known as Project Elf!
We're doing things a little differently this year! SRU will be partnering with the local school district to help make the holidays brighter for school-aged children in our community.
We would appreciate your help sharing the information below and the attached flyer with the faculty and staff in your departments.
How Can You Help?
We invite you to adopt one or more children and help make their holiday wishes come true! Participants should plan to spend approximately $125 to $150 per child. When signing up, simply indicate how many children you would like to adopt.
Can't Adopt a Child? You Can Still Help!
Not everyone is able to adopt a child, and that's okay! We're also accepting donations of children's gifts and wrapping supplies, including wrapping paper, gift tags, and tape. Every contribution helps spread a little extra holiday cheer!

Gift Drop-Off:
• Dates: December 8, 2026
• Time: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• Location: Smith Student Center Theater
