About
An undergraduate from your RSO must attend an SFAB workshop to complete an application for the 2027-28 cycle.
This training will walk you through the entire funding process and help your student organization prepare a successful SFAB application.
During this session, you'll learn:
• Important Dates & Deadlines: Review the funding timeline, key dates, and important deadlines.
• Application Process: Learn how to access and complete your funding application, including how to obtain required supporting documents.
• Tips for Success: Discover best practices and common mistakes to avoid.
• Funding Presentation: Understand what to expect when presenting your request to SFAB and how to prepare an effective presentation.
• Post-Approval Requirements: Learn about the steps required after receiving funding, including submitting Activity Planning Forms (APFs) and meeting applicable requirements.
Who Should Attend?
This training is required for student organizations seeking SFAB funding. Officers or members responsible for preparing and submitting funding requests must attend one SFAB workshop.
It is also open to any and all organizations who are considering applying for SFAB and/or want to learn more about it.
When & Where?
Training sessions will be offered weekly at various locations across campus. Each session covers the same material, so you only need to attend one. See below for specific dates, times, and locations.
Whether you're applying for the first time or have received SFAB funding before, this training will help you navigate the process confidently and avoid common pitfalls.
