About

Come learn, talk, and build skills around AI!

ELM's weekly meetings feature expert-led workshops on topics and skills central to the ongoing AI revolution; discussion of new LLM technologies, techniques, and controversies; member reports on their research projects; working group breakout rooms; and more

ELM Mission Statement: ELM Lab is an academic-community partnership devoted to AI research that advances equity, strengthens individual and collective agency, and fosters the ethically responsible use of large language models (LLMs) for positive social impact. (This is a consensus statement from ELM members, voted and approved in 2026.)
