About
This workshop will help TRiO SSS students explore scholarship opportunities and identify campus resources that may help reduce financial and technology-related barriers to academic success. Students will learn the differences between internal and external scholarships, how to track scholarship deadlines, and how to develop a plan for finding and applying for funding opportunities. The workshop will also introduce students to available laptop, iPad, and other technology assistance resources, as well as information about tuition appeals or forgiveness options when applicable. Students will receive practical guides and follow-up resources to help them take the next steps toward finding financial assistance and accessing the technology they need for their education.
The room has space for 20 TRiO SSS students to attend this workshop in person. All additional RSVPs will join virtually. A Microsoft Teams link will be sent prior to the start of the workshop.
