About

Responsibilities of this group include but are not limited to:

1. Monitor federal, state, and local legislation impacting students. Share timely information about legislation affecting students. 2. Educate the student body and ASG on relevant policy issues. 3. Plan and execute student advocacy efforts such as forums, campaigns, lobbying activities, and rallies. 4. Prepare materials to ensure the ASG Senate understands key advocacy issues. 5. Support preparation for SSCCC General Assemblies, including delegate roles and reporting.

These meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of the month in a hybrid format (in-person in the ASG Office (OC34218) or via Zoom - see link on agenda or in this event). Please see the agendas for more information.
