About

It's that time to show your skills! Have you ever wanted to make a game or want to improve their skills? Maybe you want to network with other students and faculty or get feedback on your current skills? If that is you, now is the time to join!

The Educational Game Jam is a one week event in which you (and your group members) will create an educational digital OR analog game based on a theme! Note: this does not need to be a fully fledged game, it can be one level or a high-fidelity concept.

Open to all NYU students, regardless of skill level! We are here to support you in your journey in game development. All we ask is you bring your love and passion for games and education!

TIMELINE:

November 2nd, 3-4pm: (Optional) Information Session + Social Mixer!

November 6th-November 13th (online or in person): THE EDUCATIONAL GAME JAM

November 15th, 5-9pm: GAME JAM SHOWCASE (Bring your friends, show off your games, enjoy some food!)

Please email us at g4lsa.nyu@gmail.com or DM us on instagram @nyugames4learning if you have any questions!
