Taste of Afrique

Taste of Afrique is a cultural celebration hosted by Rowan University’s African Student Association, designed to bring the Rowan community together through the rich and diverse cultures of the African continent.

Guests will have the opportunity to experience Africa through food, music, dance, fashion, and cultural expression, while learning about the traditions and communities represented across different African countries. The event will feature a variety of traditional and culturally inspired dishes, allowing attendees to explore the flavors and culinary traditions that make African cuisine so diverse.

Beyond the food, Taste of Afrique will create an immersive celebration of African culture through live performances, music, dancing, cultural showcases, and opportunities for community engagement. The event aims to highlight the diversity within Africa and the African diaspora while creating a welcoming space for students, faculty, staff, and members of the Rowan community to connect, celebrate, and learn from one another.

Whether you are familiar with African culture or experiencing it for the first time, Taste of Afrique is an invitation to come together, share in the culture, and discover something new.
