Live From The Yard

About

The Gentlemen of Drew Social Club presents the GODSC Block Party, an early-evening event on the Yard designed to bring the Howard community together through music, food, games, vendors, and fellowship. Taking place in October, the event will begin in the late afternoon and continue into the early night, allowing students to enjoy the Yard as the sun sets and the atmosphere transitions into the evening. The block party will feature music, interactive games and activities hosted by GODSC, and food and snacks provided by Diversified. The event will also provide space for GODSC-affiliated vendors to showcase and sell their products, giving members and entrepreneurs within the community an opportunity to promote their businesses directly to Howard students. Throughout the event, students will be able to move between vendors, food, games, and social areas, creating an open block-party environment rather than a structured program. Music and GODSC members will keep students engaged throughout the evening.
