About
Tuesday, November 10 & Thursday, November 12, 2026, 6pm - 9pm
Take your wheel-throwing skills to the next level in this hands-on, two-day teapot-making workshop! Students will learn the process of creating a functional, wheel-thrown teapot from start to finish. We will throw the main body of the vessel, create a fitted lid and gallery, throw a spout, and pull or extrude a handle. Students will then learn how to assemble and attach the components to create a unique, one-of-a-kind teapot. Reclaim clay is provided, you are allowed to purchase different clay in-house to use if you prefer.
Skill Level: Intermediate – Not a Beginner Class
This workshop is designed for students who already have experience on the pottery wheel and are comfortable centering clay, pulling walls, and creating basic forms. Prior teapot-making experience is not required. Come ready to challenge your skills, learn new techniques, and create something beautiful and functional!
