About
Spend the evening with us at Springs Preserve assisting their annual Día de los Muertos event: a celebration full of color and life rooted in Latin American culture. This family-friendly event blends rich customs with exciting activities such as live entertainment, an array of altars honoring deceased relatives and loved ones, mariachis, traditional food, art vendors and much more. You will be helping us set up and run tables and whatever else they need from us.
Please meet us at the Student Union first floor eating bar under the stairs at 2 PM. The event runs from 5-9, the shift we take will be from 3-9. Please wear closed toed, walking shoes and appropriate working clothing (t-shirt and jeans for example). You may dress up if you'd like! But please keep your attire appropriate and follow similar guidelines.
We can provide transportation is available up to 10 people. There will be food/snacks, TBA.
If you RSVP, you are expected to come, so please update your RSVP when things change. There will be a release form to be signed, so please keep an eye out! We can't wait to see you all there!
