About

The safety and accessibility walk is an event jointly hosted by SGA and Accessibility Western. The goal of the walk is to focus on finding safety and accessibility concerns around campus so that they may be reported to WCU. The safety and accessibility concerns will be recorded through written description and taking photos.

The event has two walks that cover a series of routes around the campus starting at the Alumni Clock Tower. The first walk is the day walk which takes place from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There will then be a one hour break for dinner. The second walk will be the night walk which will take place from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

Each walk will account for one volunteer hour and one RTA hour upon request.
