6:30–6:40 PM | Welcome and Purpose: Residents will be invited to gather for Wings of Appreciation, a service-focused program recognizing the custodial staff who help maintain the residence hall. Staff will briefly discuss the importance of respecting shared spaces, showing gratitude, and recognizing the people whose work supports the residential community. 6:40–7:20 PM | Wings and Card-Making Activity: Residents will be provided catered wings while creating handwritten thank-you cards for custodial staff. Card-making supplies, including cards, markers, stickers, and envelopes, will be available. Residents can write personal messages of appreciation and decorate their cards. Staff will encourage residents to reflect on the positive impact custodial staff have on the building and community. 7:20–7:30 PM | Collection and Closing: Residents will finish their cards and place them in a collection area. Staff will thank residents for participating and collect the cards to be delivered to the custodial staff along with any remaining food or appreciation items.
