About

Every story deserves a place on the shelf. Join ASI Student Government for Read the Rainbow: Censorship, Community & Queer Stories, an educational and interactive event exploring LGBTQIA+ book bans, representation and the importance of access to diverse perspectives.

Discover frequently challenged LGBTQIA+ books, learn why titles are challenged and explore how censorship affects students and communities. Connect with fellow readers, create your own bookmark and discover ways to support inclusive libraries and local bookstores.

Whether you’re a passionate reader, an advocate for free expression or simply curious, stop by to read, connect and help keep diverse stories on the shelves!
