About

Pacific Trio presents a captivating journey into the rich musical traditions of China through performances on traditional instruments including the zheng (plucked zither), pipa (lute), and dizi (bamboo flute). Drawing on centuries-old repertoire and virtuoso technique, the ensemble brings to life the expressive colors and rhythmic vitality of Chinese music, offering audiences a profound and immersive experience with one of Asia’s most vibrant musical heritages as part of the SDSU World Music Concert Series.
