About

Beginning with the Spring 2027 semester, all syllabi will be required to be submitted into the new CourseLeaf Syllabus Tool. This tool will not only make all syllabi publicly available and accessible, but it will also populate into your Canvas course.

Ready to build your syllabus in CourseLeaf SYL? This hands-on webinar walks instructors through the full syllabus workflow, from getting started to publishing. You’ll learn how to create a new syllabus from a template or copy an existing one, make edits, and publish a final version for students. We’ll also cover where the pre-filled content in your syllabus comes from, how to refresh it when course information changes, and how your syllabus connects to the learning management system. You’ll leave knowing how to find syllabi, where to get help, and how to manage your syllabus confidently each term.
