About

The Future Emergency Nurses Association is hosting an ICU-specific information session for students who want a clear look at critical care nursing. A guest speaker will walk through what high-acuity ICU practice actually looks like—hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator basics, rapid response and code roles, interprofessional teamwork, and how emergency and intensive care connect at the bedside.

Students will learn how to prepare for an ICU career path: what units look for in new graduates, how to build resilience in a high-stakes environment, and which skills transfer from the ED to the ICU. Come ready with questions about shadowing, residencies, certifications, and what it takes to thrive when patients are the sickest.
