About
In this virtual [Zoom] session, session focuses on applying emotional intelligence in real interactions with others. Participants will work through a simple, practical model to better recognize behavior, question assumptions, and choose how they respond in the moment. The session emphasizes how to navigate conversations more effectively—especially when things feel unclear, tense, or reactive. Participants will leave with clear, repeatable strategies they can use to communicate more intentionally and improve interactions at work.
What You'll Learn By the end of this session, you will be able to: 1) Recognize the difference between what you observe and what you assume in interactions with others. 2) Understand how initial interpretations can shape reactions and impact communication. 3) Practice expressing and responding in ways that reduce tension and improve outcomes.
