This session describes the relationship between growth mindset, perceived stress, and academic performance among PharmD students at UTEP. Using validated measures, we explore how psychological factors may influence students’ academic experiences and outcomes. The presentation will highlight evidence-based techniques that educators and student support professionals can use to reduce stress, strengthen resilience, and promote student well-being.
Attendees will gain practical strategies for integrating stress-management and well-being approaches into the academic environment. The session is designed for UTEP faculty, administrators, assessment professionals, and student support personnel interested in supporting student success, well-being, and academic performance.
