MSWSA x The Umbrella Brigade Donation Drive

About

Hello to all School of Social Work Knights!

As we know, service is one of the major tenets of social work's philosophy. We work to assist and provide aid to those who need it, all while advocating for a future where people will not have to ask for anything they need.

With the holidays soon approaching, MSWSA would like to ask for your help! A wonderful organization, The Umbrella Brigade, is collecting donations to create supply boxes for families this Thanksgiving. We would love to show them how much our Knights care by giving them as many donations as possible!

The donation period will run from Oct. 21 to Nov. 13. You can either donate items to one of the bins located in Health Sciences I or send money to our PayPal for us to donate on your behalf! All you have to do is note that you are sending the funds for donating. If you donate, we would love if you took a picture and emailed it to us at mswsa@ucf.edu with your name attached so we can properly recognize you. For MSWSA members, this event is point eligible: please see the GroupMe for more information.

This is the list of the most needed items, which has also been posted on our Instagram and can be found on the flyers posted near the donation boxes:
