Join us as our Slippery Rock University bassoon students compete in the annual Ronald Phillips Memorial Award Prize competition on this coming Sunday, November 22nd, at 2:00 PMAdditional information from Professor Amy Baker:This concert and award prize is held in memory of Cleveland Orchestra bassoonist Ronald Phillips. Students will give a short speech detailing how they embody Mr. Phillips' core values of integrity, hard work, kindness, generosity, and mentorship; and then they will perform solo pieces with piano accompaniment.We are honored to have the support of our three fantastic judges: Suzanne Phillips Bradley, Mark DeMio, and Jonathan Sherwin.
