About
The Indian subcontinent Student Association (ISSA) of University of Vermont is organizing 20th Diwali celebration on Sunday November 8th, 2026 and our event would be graced by our chief guest Prof. Marlene Tromp, President University of Vermont.
As a student-led organization, ISSA is committed to fostering cultural exchange, building meaningful connections, and creating a welcoming environment where students from diverse backgrounds feel a sense of belonging. Our Diwali celebration is not just a cultural event; it is an opportunity to strengthen our campus community, celebrate diversity, and encourage cross-cultural understanding.
We are planning an evening featuring traditional performances, music, cultural activities, and South Asian food.
