About

We'll learn together with hands-on collaboration about how to take action, make change, how to get involved in grassroots efforts, and what it takes to create an advocacy campaign to work on the issues you care about most. Guided by an experienced grassroots organizer, we will walk through the steps of defining an issue, identifying a target and strategy for action, and gathering support to make change.

This workshop takes place in person at the Changemaker Center (12 Washington Place) and food is provided for those who attend the full session time.

** Note on Inclusion and Accessibility: Our events and initiatives are open to all backgrounds and identities. It is a priority to make our events inclusive and accessible. For any questions or to notify us of a request, please email changemakercenter@nyu.edu at least 72 hours before the event.**
