About

Dental Hygienists enjoy being in high demand, creating their own schedules, and earning a good income. As licensed oral health care professionals, dental hygienists treat patients directly to prevent oral diseases and protect teeth and gums.

As part of PBSC's two-year Dental Hygienist Associate in Science degree program, students gain experience providing preventive dental treatment and oral health education in schools and public health clinics, VA hospitals and the College's fully equipped dental clinics. By treating a diverse range of patients, students develop the clinical and decision-making skills needed to excel in the fast-growing profession.

PBSC has new state-of-the-art dental clinics on the Loxahatchee Groves campus.
