About
How do world-class research universities transition laboratory discoveries into commercial licenses, venture-backed startups, and enduring corporate partnerships?
Dr. Alex Norman will share strategic models and real-world case studies from the Princeton Materials Institute (PMI). This session is part of the Lunch and Learn series organized by the Office of Economic Innovation and Partnerships (OEIP) and the Institute for Engineering Driven Health (IEDH) under the National Science Foundation’s Accelerating Research Translation (NSF ART) program to expand translational capabilities.
Topics include: support offered to innovators, building industry partnerships, opening core facilities to industry, and lessons learned.
This session will be of particular interest to faculty, postdocs, and graduate students across material sciences and those considering commercialization or industry partnerships, as well as staff involved in shared research facilities and corporate engagement.
