About
Join the Dean of Students Office and Leadership Education and Development (LEAD) for our annual Non-Traditional Student Breakfast & Resource Fair on Thursday, November 5, 2026, from 8:30 – 10 AM in Prairie Rooms II & III in the Bone Student Center.
At ISU, non-traditional students are a growing and thriving population that includes adult learners, transfer students, parents, veterans, and others who might be balancing academics with work, family, and other community commitments.
This program will spotlight the Tina and Mick Rowe Scholarship for Non-traditional Students, and feature two keynote speakers - Luisa Estrada and Natasha Fever. This program was designed in direct response to feedback from scholarship applicants who shared their own challenges with building networks and accessing resources that support success.
Program Highlights - Breakfast and networking with non-traditional students and other campus & community partners - Official launch point for the Tina and Mick Rowe Scholarship for Non-traditional Students - Keynote address by Luisa Estrada and Natasha Fever - A resource fair featuring ISU offices and local community organizations
