About
What does it mean to write about the people and places that shaped you? Nicole R. Fleetwood ’94 explores that question in her new memoir, "Between the River and the Railroad Tracks", and she's coming back to Miami to share the story behind it.
A proud Western College Program alumna and Miami’s Spring 2023 Commencement speaker, Fleetwood is an art historian, writer and MacArthur Fellow.
She will join Miami students for a conversation about her family and growing up in Southwest Ohio. The evening will also include a reading from her memoir.
