About
Especially in light of recent events, we want to take a moment to emphasize the importance of looking out for one another and creating a campus community where everyone feels safe, supported, and respected.
Join us for an upcoming one hour Bystander Intervention Workshop, designed to help you recognize situations where someone may need support and explore practical, realistic ways to step in when you witness something concerning.
Whether it's noticing someone who may be uncomfortable, recognizing harassment or potentially harmful behavior, or simply being there for a fellow student, small actions can make a meaningful difference.
You'll leave feeling more confident in your ability to:
• Recognize situations where someone may need help or support.
• Identify safe and effective ways to intervene.
• Explore different approaches to stepping in, including the 5 Ds of bystander intervention.
• Support others while prioritizing your own safety.
Date: Wednesday, November 18th Time: 5:00p-6:00pm Location: UC 122
Reserve your spot!
Who can attend: All UCCS students are welcome!
