Mafia Night

About

Mafia Night will consist of each participating member secretly receiving a role that determines their objective throughout the game. Roles may include Mafia, Civilians, Detectives, Doctors, and other special characters inspired by recognizable characters and archetypes from classic African movies. Incorporating these characters will add a cultural and humorous twist to the traditional Mafia game while creating an experience unique to ASA. Throughout the night, members of the Mafia will secretly work together to eliminate other players while attempting to blend in with the rest of the group. Civilians will be tasked with identifying and eliminating Mafia members through observation, discussion, and voting, while special characters will possess unique abilities that can protect players, uncover information, or influence the direction of the game. By combining the strategy and mystery of Mafia with elements of classic African film and culture, Mafia Night will create an engaging ASA experience centered around community, friendly competition, and cultural connection.
