About

Join Serve UGA this semester for volunteering opportunities with The School Garden Network! The School Garden Network is a partnership of Athens organizations that have come together to make sure that every school in Athens-Clarke County has a school garden that is accessible to enhance instruction that engages students, staff, families and the community. KACCB serves as the main contact in this effort by maintaining a central database of school gardens projects and connecting local schools with community resources to build, teach in, and maintain gardens sites as outdoor classrooms.

We volunteer on an ongoing basis with the School Gardens. Once you sign-up, a Service Ambassador will be in touch with you with more information about what to expect.

The University of Georgia is committed to providing access and reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities upon request. Please contact the Department of Engagement, Leadership, & Service via phone at 706-542-6396 or email at ugaels@uga.edu with specific requests.

If you have any questions about this opportunity or need a ride to the service site, please contact any of the following service ambassadors by emailing serveuga@uga.edu.
