About
Join Our Korean Language Table: Connect, Practice, and Build Community!
Hosted by KISO (Korean International Students Organization), in partnership with the Department of East Asian Studies, the Korean Language Table is a semi-monthly gathering that brings together students interested in Korean language and culture with Korean international students for conversation, cultural exchange, and community building.
Throughout the academic year, Language Table events provide opportunities for students enrolled in Korean language courses as well as anyone interested in Korean language and culture to engage in informal conversations with Korean international students. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, these gatherings offer a welcoming space to practice speaking and listening skills in real-world settings.
Learn Through Cultural Exchange
Language learning extends beyond the classroom. By interacting with native speakers and fellow students, participants gain valuable cultural insights, improve their communication skills, and develop a deeper understanding of contemporary Korean culture and everyday life.
Build Meaningful Connections
The Language Table is more than a language learning opportunity. It's a chance to meet new people, share experiences, and form friendships across cultures. We hope these conversations foster lasting connections and create a stronger sense of community among students.
