Momentum Dance Company Fall 2026 Showcase

About

Momentum Dance Company is Vanderbilt’s first student-run dance performance group and includes members coming from a variety of artistic backgrounds, ranging from classical ballet studios to competition troupes. Momentum produces two full-length shows each year containing contemporary, lyrical, ballet, pointe, jazz, and hip-hop pieces choreographed, directed, and performed by undergraduate company members. The company also engages in a variety of community outreach projects and performs at various campus and philanthropic events. Momentum works to make dance more accessible to the general public in an effort to provide a challenging and exciting experience for its dancers as well as a fulfilling and high quality performance for its audiences. The company fosters a sense of genuine emotionality, innovative storytelling, and raw passion for movement, striving to further enrich Vanderbilt and Nashville with meaningful art.

We are proud to be hosting our annual Fall Showcase in Langford Auditorium! Come see a variety of student choreographed pieces that our members have worked on all semester. We hope to see you there!
